You asked for them – cost-effective practice books! Now you can correlate selected Sourcebook lessons in every unit with opportunities for student-created word collections, discovery and reinforcement of essential skills, and extension. All units feature a test-wise proofreading page. The new Practice Books –

• can be used with the 2nd or 3rd Edition Sourcebooks in regular or Special Ed classes
• are appropriate for all or selected students
• provide summer vacation at-home reinforcement
• are ideal for summer school programs

Every basic skill taught in the teacher Sourcebook is reinforced in the Student Practice Book. Each book features a complete Core Words List, Priority Words List, Spelling Notebook for a running record of Spelling Words, and essential rules for reference.
For the Level 1 Practice Book, there are 24 Practice Book pages (48 separate lessons) that precede Sourcebook Unit 1. These are recommended for spelling readiness, and can commence at the beginning of the school year.
